Accessing data using your copy of matlab

OPeNDAP allows one to give a application a url and have it directly download data. To read this data into matlab use 
loaddap('http://dlibrary.snia.gub.uy/SOURCES/.NASA/.FIRMS/.Confianza/%5BY%5Ddifferences/0.0/%5BX%5Dintegrate/%5BX/Y%5D0.0/maxover/dods')
