Accessing data using your copy of matlab

OPeNDAP allows one to give a application a url and have it directly download data. To read this data into matlab use 
loaddap('http://dlibrary.snia.gub.uy/SOURCES/.WORLDCLIM/prec/X+differences/X+integral/1+index/.bio1/Y+differences/bio1/dods')
